new frag

Hey guys just picked this up for $5 at my lfs any ideas what i got? It looks like a birds nest like I used to have but its really not all that green.

It does look like a birdsnest. I'm no SPS expert though so interested to see what others say. My guess would be a birdsnest that wasn't under good lighting.

it is a birdsnest but and might color up to be like the green one you had before. sometimes they all dont have the neon polyps

That would cost around $25 at my local fish store. That is one hell of a buy.

just went back in this week and the rest of them have died off... they dont know how to care too well for them so they price these frags cheaply mine has really taken off and is doing well!
