New gasoline cannister for KW doser

Hi all,
Is it OK to use new (from the store) gasoline cannister to built top off reservoir for kalkwasser dosing. I could not find on the cannister from what material it was made.

i say, as long as it's plastic, it will be fine. i just wouldn't use a matal one.

i still think it would be easier to use a 5 gallon bucket though. probly cheaper too.

You can get the one's made for water for like when you go camping i think they are the blue one's
