New Green Anchor Coral

I received a on-line order of some coral Friday. The Green anchor is a total of 6" long. About 1" on one side seems to be dead.
It hasn't came out of the skeleton on that end. Do you think it maybe dieing? Or will it be ok? The rest of it looks fine, and are Fox corals the same way, as to the fact that part of the skeleton is empty?
My tank readings are fine.

The colony is not usually affected by a single polyp. It may warrant a freshwater dip as a precaution though.
