Just got this guy yesterday and I thought I'd share some pictures. Sorry for all the small bubbles in the picture, I think it is from my skimmer going crazy from using underwater epoxy to attach the guy.

Good question, I asked the guy at the store what the thing that looked like a green leather was and he said, "it's a green leather..", he actually told me the real name after that but I can't remember it. I tried doing a search on yahoo but wasn't able to find any pictures that looked like it.

I got one of those leathers once, it didn't stay green, when it extended its polops, it was tan. Don't know its scientific name either, lfs called it a green finger leather

I saw the coral they cut this one from open at the store and it was less green when it was open, but still an amazing looking leather in my opinion. I hope mine opens up soon and I'll try to get some pictures when it does.

I bought one of these about a month ago...when I bought it, I think that it was about 2 inches long...only cost me like $3 at the lfs....it has grown to 8 inches and about 3 inches in diameter...all i did is placed it higher in the tank and target feed with a mix of zooplex, phytoplex and cyclpese once a week....mine did not completely open for the first couple of days...hope that helps

(Sinularia flexibis)
a spaghetti finger leather coral, they grow big and stay really big, easy to propagate and likes to be fed lots of microplanktons
