i have just started this great adventure in the salyt water world so here are my questions.
1 how long after set up do i need to wait to put fish in?
2 I here about putting flake food in the set up whe an how much
3 is this as hard as it seems and what are some of the things not to do or to do/

I'm reallllly new at this too and I just read "The new Marine Aquarium" my Michael Paletta. This answered alot of my questions, and saved the poor guy at the LFS the headache of answering really basic questions. Its a good start.

any questions, do some searches, they have been real handy in helping me in my tank, and also try to find as much info as possible before adding livestock.

1 it is anybodys guess, each tank is different and the answer could span 6 months(form several days)
2 flake food can be used for the cycle, yes, or LR or damsels or deli shrimp
3 no it is not as hard as it seems, once set up and stable, it will actually make things easy, by helping you to dod the work.
