When he's curled up, he's about the size of a golf ball. It's very cute.
We have 5 now...two balls, one BRB and two chondros.
I got that ball after a lady almost got him for her little (maybe 6 year old?) kid who was having a tantrum in the store about getting the snake. Which made me go look at him, of course while she went to another isle to discipline her obnoxious kid. He was in a yucky cage with piles of snake poo all over and didn't look very happy, had mites all over him. He was $37 bucks (1/2 of the price of their other balls---wonder why!)..so I got him. Mostly because I felt bad for the little guy, and also because I didn't want to think of some dumb lady getting him for her ill-behaved 6 year old who wouldn't have the first clue about what to do with him. So I WAS just going to get some pet supplies, but wound up getting a snake, cage and other stuff too yesterday because I'm a sucker for animals at risk. I'm treating him for the mites, and am taking him to my vet for worming. He'll have a nice home with me! I've named him (or her) "Summer".

Good move on snaking the snake! That's an awesome price for him too. He looks happy and healthy to me... Have you washed him?

Yes, I did. (soaked him) I got many of the mites off...and treated him with some mite-off stuff.
That's my BF's finger...he cut it trying to slice and dice like the Iron Chefs!
BTW, the mite stuff...it's called "Mite Off"...I got it at the store...is it very toxic to other animals?
