I prefer the Budweiser myself....was raised a bottle baby......but it is a nice skimmer.

Budweiser seems to make me mean and my wife won't let me drink it.
Those Germans really do know how to make an awesome skimmer the build quality is excellent.
I just started it up three hours ago and the whole chamber looks like milk. Tiny tiny bubbles.

Those damn German's copied the Euro Reef
I've been looking at those for a few months now. The only diff between the H&S and the ER is that Eheim pump takes in so much more air.
I've been talking to George about making one of his recirc models using the Eheim and needle wheel. The key is getting the venturi right.
Sweet skimmer, lets see some pics after you get that puppy running.

mmmmmm, nice and thick and still a bit frothy... mmmm.

Imagine picking up a caramel maciatto (sorry, horrible spelling) and getting some of that ontop instead of the frothed milk.

I can't wait to see the kind of crap it of going to pull out after running for a few weeks.
This tank has been heavily skimmed since start up.

Very nice, I love mine. I noticed mine actually pulls more air when the tubes are clamped down halfway, don't know if you noticed the same thing or not.
I'm running a H & S sulphur reactor now as well. They build nice equipment, I actually think they build better than deltec.
I fed mine T'd off my return pump, I think the feed pumps that ship out with them are too small.

also, you know that you can adjust the water level inside the skimmer with the wedge pipe, right?
After looking at your collection cup, you may want to raise your water level an inch or two. In three days my cup is full. I installed a draincock into it.

Hey Tony,
Thank you for the helpful hints.
Is your skimmer the recirculating type? Mine isn't.
How far are you running the water level up in the neck?
I did notice if I pinch down on the air line the pump puts out more water and air it completely fills the big chamber with bubbles and lets some air bubbles back in the tank. Is this how you run yours?
Thanks,
James
