Ive notice last week that there were a few white colored hairs inside of a cave in a coral i have. I thought maybe my cat "KC"'s hair got in the tank. Now i notice some more in another cave made from rainbow rock. These hairs seem like they're based with some algea on the back of the tank and under the rock. There are some more hairs in the tank and it seems that they are only in shaded or semishaded areas.
Also i noticed a feather duster had broken from its shell a few days ago and alot of hairs seem to be stationed there also. I dont think that it is its left over feathers.
Any info about this hairy problem is appreciated.
P.S.- i know KC wasnt swimming in my tank.
