Hey eveyone.... I just finished a home project to make a tank a little nicer. Take a look at the pics and tell me what you think. (The tanks a bit dirty, but I just couldn't wait to snap a few shots!)

In case your wondering, the tank is 300 gal and all the filtration equipment is located in the basement. It is surrounded by limestone and the floor around it is bamboo. The "doors" above the tank are also limestone and give me good access to the tank. Originally I didn't have it completely enclosed and the only downside is I needed to add a chiller to keep the temp down to about 79. I still have some minor trim work to do around the room, but I am too the point where I need to take a break from the DIY home project from HELL. HA HA :D

I'm very impressed with your setup:eek: It simply looks very beautiful, one question....where is your tank located at in your house?

Thanks for all your feedback! As for the location, joker, its actually located in the "entry" room of the house. When you walk through the front door there is a room that is about 25 x 20 but oddly shapped (kinda like a triangle). It is at the far right side of that room. Its connected (open air) to the living room, so its a fairly wide open space. So as soon as guests come in the house its almost the first thing they see.

Gorgeous!
I especially like how you incorporated front access to the tank.
By the way, got any pics of the basement equipment setup?
