just introduced 10 mexican turbo snails(trochus?)and 5 tiny blue-legged hermits to my 55, also added my first 10lbs. of Fiji live rock(building slowly to 70-80 lbs.) any comments or advice from everyone would be much appreciated!! are these snails good algae eaters? should i still vacuum the c.c. everytime i do a water change?(weekly). thanks again for everyone's help!!

I know nothing on the type of snails and hermits you have, but I do know that yes you should clean the CC everytime you do a water change---CC can cause a nitrate problem. Waste gets trapped and therefore you should try to get out as much as you can. HTH
