New-ish palythoas changing color?

I got some palythoas about 1 1/2 - 2 months ago. They started out all green with just a little dark brown ring around them. Now they have a little bit of green and alot of dark brown. All my other paly and palythoas are doing wonderful, some higher up, some lower, my soft, lps, and sps are doing well too. They are fully open and steal food every time I feed the tank, but the color has me scratching my head. Is this just something they do? I have plenty of light (54w 20k t5 and 300w 15k led). My water quality looks good and my sg doesnt change drastically when I add top off (i add 5 gal at a time to 80 gal total water volume including sump, to equeal 85 gal)

palys tend to shift color according to their condidtions, lighting, water clarity, nutrient levels etc. I wouldnt panic about it unless they stop opening. if they darken too much for your liking move them to either higher or lower light and observe them for a while and see if they morph in the direction you want them to go.
also they may have been partly bleached from their original tank conditions and are now showing more healthy colors. its hard telling from over here.

Ahh, I see... I really like their placement, so maybe ill see if they adjust for a while but still keep an eye on them. They are about mid way in my tank with a little more than med flow.
Btw, I have a paly that is stinging one of my rics, how do I remove it because theres 4 gorgeous rics on the rock and the paly has already sprouted a new head

I would take a butter knife (while wearing gloves and glasses, keep your mouth closed too) and scrape it off the rock. if you do it gently enough you can reglue it on another rock with superglue.
