New Jawfish.. How to get him where I want him?

So I got a new Jawfish today and I am wondering how do I make him build his nest in the front of the tank rather than in the back or under some hidden rock? Anyone have any tips or tricks for me?

Hopefully you have a deep sand bed where theres rock above and overhanging so that it can tunnel under the rock, safely. Then there needs to be plenty of small rocks, shells, and varios rubble for it to shore up and bunker the tunnel, then the flow has to be directed but gentle to carry food over to the bunker because they dont like to have to venture far from it.
If you can provide that in a spot " you " prefer, then it should move right in. Good luck.

hmmmm... I have deep sand a good rocks that are secure but not much rubble.... maybe I will have to steal some rubble from my other tank.... its full of stuff....

What i used to do is just start a burrow by making a little indent in the sand then kinda chase him into the hole. He tended to stay there and make that his nest. Mine was adorable untill my cardinal ate him...
