New lady friend

My Orion has been doing so good I got a lady friend for him. She needs to grow some more, but she is eating great. Thanks to Rynka and Lisa for the feeding dish. She took to it within 24 hours. And Orion is finally realizing that the food is easier to find. I can tell when it is feeding time, they are both attached to the dish waiting for me. I don't have a name for her yet, but I'll find one eventually.

They're both beautiful!! I was surprised how quickly my horses took to a dish as well. Just be very diligent in taking the dish out every day to clean...I take the dish out of my tank either right before or shortly after the supper meal to clean it out.
Congratulations...again they're beautiful.

Beautiful couple. I really believe that seahorses are much happier and healthier when you purchase a mated pair. These two love birds are a perfect picture of happiness.

I agree two or three horses seem to be much happier!! My lil Gracie just got a few new friends and is now much more active and seems happier

My thanks. The female is the smarter of the two. When I feed them she will get into the container and eat while Orion just looks and then swims away. I have to release some of the mysis into the tank itself so he can "hunt" it down and eat it. I like the container cause the bristleworms can taste the mysis in the water and come out to find some and I just wait with my clamps to grab them and flush them. Heh Heh..wicked. The pair of watchman gobies haven't found the dish yet, but I expect them to investigate sometime.
