New Lawnmower!

I got a new lawnmower blenny today at a lfs!

I love watching it. It sits still when I look or get close but when I pretend not to look he goes and eats algae of the lr. Here are some pics.

I have a LMB and he is one of my favorite fish. They are so fun to just sit and watch!

Thanks. I love watching him too. Here are some recent pics with moonlight. Some don't have enough light so I showed where he's at to make him easier to spot.

Well I was hoping he'd mow the sand but he has been doing good on the rock. I cyphoned the sand for him since he's been slacking. It isn't neccesarily a clean tank because I've been gone for the past week and my dad only does the mag float, there is some coraline on the front I need to get but since a mag won't hit it my dad doesn't bother with it. I will get a full tank shot in a minute.

I'm guessing you have to have a pretty well established tank to have one of these huh?

The blenny is very active. I look and he is on one rock and I look again after checking the computer and he's gone. I'm constantly playing find the blenny. Here is a full tank shot. PrevWon, the tank is 6months old but I have no problem growing enough algae on the lr for the blenny.

I have a lawnmower blennie too..they are so neat to watch! I love when they smack their lips on the rock or glass looking for something tasty! the back of my tank has his lip prints (smooches) all over it!

I wish mine would eat some algae of the tank walls. I do see him eat of the rocks so that is ok. They are a very interesting fish.
