I just upgrade my lights to 4 t five ho lights about double what I had b4 little less. Is there any thing I can do to help not have a diatom break out last time I added more light it happen

Scale your lighting regimen back and give everything a chance to adjust to the increase of light....

What do you currently have in the tank as far as corals? You could cut the light cycle in half and gradual work back up to 8hrs.

All types but sps. Over like a 2heads week period good?

Yes....would cut it back....You'd slowly want to acclimate your corals to the brighter lights. Shouldn't hurt anything.
