I have recently upgraded my lighting on my 10 gal nano from 40 watt 50/50 coralife bulbs to the coralife PC 96 watt hood. Since the change most of my corals havent looked the same. It has been 3 days since the new lights are up, how long till everything is back to normal?

How far is the 96W from the water ? How long is your photoperiod ? Usually, when most upgrade lighting, it takes the corals a few days to get adjusted, so give it another week or so and tell us how things are doing.

The light/hood is positioned above the tank by mounting legs (about 2-3 in). I use to leave my old lights on for 10 hours, but now I have decreased the photoperiod to six hours and will gradually increase. Any other suggestions?

My best suggestion would be to run the lights less and gradually increase as the corals become more adapted to the lighting.
