this tank is a 65 gallon, 36 X 18 X 24.
i just got the current outer orbit unit. 2 X 250 hqi with 4 X 50?watt actinics, and of course the leds.
question is, is there anything that may require more light in 24" of water on a 2" sandbed? first day i didnt run it all day because i didn't want to shock anything, but it looks VERY bright, and everything in the tank opened at once.
so, now i am wondering how far i can go on light demanding coral? currently i have clams, goniopora, and a ton of softies
