New Lights are on....

Well I have made the decision to get away from just the "Fish Only" tank and wanted to start with some coral pieces. My need was to upgrade my lighting. I first started off by getting a 250W MH setup and WOW-SA! Way to much light for me. I did'nt like the way it looked on the tank. My tank is a 46 gallon tall setup. I decided to go with the Odyssea 198W PC setup. I know this might not be the greatest light in the world.....but for the price I really could not pass it up. I will evaulate this light over the next few months or so and will see what happens. I have read some really bad things online about them, but also have read about the same good things about them too. I can say this so far. I am happy with the light they produce and brown polyps seem to love them so far.

i'm running the orbit version of that light, and i am very pleases with the performance. i would much rather stick to PC than have to deal with the hassle of MH (heat, protection...) im planning on adding another 192 retrofit to my 50g, bringing my wattage to almost 400 watts
