it is blueeee. but ive never seen it b4 except in the lfs and they were dim. but with 4 actinic they are nice.
i worked all this summer and parents made me put almost all my money away so i wouldnt kill it on the tank. but let me spen a little on the lights..
o yeah i almost forgot..
with the order came a prizee! a little bag of candy! haha its cool if u ask me. now and laters, tootsie rolls, and a fire ball

i would go thru reef geeks. a very good place.
i love the lights so far but let me tell u. it is hard fr one person to put these lights up..
at first i thought tht they were to long. but i had to turn the legs around (sold sepratly.)so they now go and the 90 degreee angle is on the inside. the only thing is tht the fixture is so wide. from front to backm tht i dont have room for a fan. but im going to look. also the next thing is the legs.. u need to tighten the Heck out of them with a pair of grips cus u siply cant tighten the thumb twist to keep the light up. it just slips down so i h ad to run and get the grips and tighten it. its quiet the project but its well worth the invest ment so far. but im wondering if the egg crate on top which was a pain to put on cus i had to revamp it so fit arounf the light legs. will it block enough light so i will be limited for corals again?!

i dnot think the eggcrate will block that much light, you know? but it doesnt have a fan for as reason, and im assuming because the fixture operates well at the temperatures its going to dish out. i heard about the candy thing but didnt think it was real lol.
wish i had t5 on my 28 :[ they have a 24" fixture thats perfect for it too

you can go ahead and try frogspawn and hammer coral, brain corals too. just becareful when taking them back home with you, they damage easily.
you still have the username at -- right? you should post in the lighting category and ask a quick question, youll probably get some answers out of them to tell you if the bulbs are good for sps and anything else. let me know how it goes
