new lights

so i am upgrading my 36 inch jbj 96wattx2 power compact light. I am buying a nova pro extreme light(t5)6 bulb. Im super pumped, but was wondering if there are any precautions i should take to not fry my corals due to the brighter light? ANy suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated

put the corals down and move them up little by little

you can run less lamps at first. Leave out a 10K and run the ect lillte longer at first.

+1 with the above. run 3 bulbs 1st, then after a 2-3 weeks, run the other 3. another way is just run the new light for 3 hours daily 1st, then increase the hours slowly every couple days.
