ok heres how you do it, it worked for me, and if your alittle daring it will work for you no problem. Don't feed him for a day or 2, then try to hand feed him, mine responded sooo well to it, and now only will eat from my hand. Best of luck to you

My lion went 34 days without eating before he would go near the krill. then it took a week or to for him to actually keep it down and not spit it up.
Good luck because they can be stuborn

Rane, I see in your sig you are keeping a Volitan, and a Humu Trigger together. Do you have any problems with the trigger nipping at thew lions fins?? I have a zebra lion and was considering getting a picasso but the LFS told me triggers like to nip lions.....to death. Seeing you keeping the 2 together gives me some hope tho. ;)

Never treat with feeders. They are prone to get a lump in thier throught that will prevent them from being able to eat at all. Also, feeders have NO nutritional value at all. It's just not healthy.

I have had a huma with my lion for almost two years. They get along fine....I think as long as the tank is big enough, you should not have any problems with this combo.

Keith, I just put in the Huma Huma in yesterday..I also have heard about that, I was more worried about the shark getting nipped at since the tomatoe clown i had did that and I had to take him back and traded him for the huma...but so far all seems well will keep you informed..I hopefully will have some pics up so you guys can see my tank...
