Yesturday I picked up a candy cane and a red open brain. Im just wondering what will help them do well. ie, water flow, tank placement and feeding? I have 260w pc and the tank is 55 gallons.

The lighting will depend on what they were in before you had them. If they were under really high lights, they'll have a tough time with your setup. However, if they were under NO lighting they might be a little starved and like the extra light.
As far as flow, both prefer lower flow levels and both like to be fed once in a while (but don't absolutely have to be).
