New LR from LFS

Well I decided to go LR shopping at the LFS's today. Stopped at one and they wanted $11 a pound seemed kind of steep so I went to another one and he normally asks $8 a pound, but he's packing up today and moving the store across town so he gave it to me for $4. I thought that was a pretty good deal for fully cured marshall island and figi mix. Don't you think? Wish I could've afforded more of it. Any special stuff I should add to the water to help it grow or any other requirements for keeping it healthy? I have been adding a product called Cycle and Kent Pro-Tech Coat since the tank went up a couple months ago. Should I keep adding them?

I think that's a great deal, in my area fiji is $6/lb and marshall is $8/lb...sounds like you were at the right place at the right time. I use C-Balance in my FOWLR but haven't been using it long enough to see results yet. I think you'll want to supplement calcium and other trace elements especially if your using R/O water. Is your tank already cycled? I don't like to use products like Cycle during the cycling process...better to just let nature take it's course.
