new Maroon Clown hiding alot

Hello,
I recently got my new Maroon Clown and so far he is just hiding. ts been 2 days and he only eats the food that floats by him when i feed them.
I attached pictures. Is this normal for him to hide 24/7

Could there be anything in there he is afraid of? Clowns are pretty tough and shy isn't a normal trait, but every fish is different.
As long as he eats...he will survive.

It looks like you have a good sized maroon so he is probably a she and if he isn't there yet she will be. lol Your clown is still adjusting. She'll be fine one she adjusts to the new environment. It's kind of like walking into a stranger's home. You're not going to be apt to just come out and say "Hi! I'm here!" lol She'll be fine. If she's eating it's a good sign.

Thanks for the help i just wasn't sure.
Yea she seems to be eating a little here or there and its increasing slowly.
