Just wanted to check in and say Hi to everyone here. I have a 24 gal Aquapod I started about 2 weeks ago. It has 20 lbs of live sand and about 18 llbs of live rock. Last week I added a cleanup crew. My question is what should I do to keep the substrate clean? The sand is dirty from the live rock debris. Will the crabs clean the sand up or should I "gravel grunge"? Or just leave it for now? The tanks in this forum look so good I just want mine to eventually look that good too!
I know to be patient though. Thanks for any help and I will continue to read the posts.

don' use a graval vac cause it will stir up your sand or vac it up. i have a sand sifter but they have there + and -'s. its a sleeper banded goby. just do research b4 you buy anything. save you time, money and frustration. lets see some pics

Welcome and congrats on the 24 AP! I just bought one too!
I am wanting to put 31 lbs of live sand in mine though. I guess 20 or so would do. I have to wait for payday till I can grab the rest of the stuff including live sand and some rock to get mine on the road to cycling.
