New Metal Halide Bulb - Inside is pink?

I just got a new bulb from Fosters and Smith, an Aqualight 150 watt 20k. Inside has a pinkish and grey film on part of it. Is this normal or should it be totally clear inside?

It's normal to see a film or cloudy section in the tube. I am not sure what it is but all my MH bulbs have had this, some more than others.
