thanks guys. yea its just the standard nano cube dlx. the only thing i changed was i took out the carbon and replaced it all with LR rubble. ive had it running for about 5 1/2 months now. i really wish i could get a better shot of my clown hes gorgeous. anyway, i only have the clown and a citrus goby(lemon goby, yellow goby, whatever youd like to call him) and a emerald crab. i had a pretty bad outbreak of bubble algae in the begining.

that is VERY beautiful. What do you use to dose calcium, or do you dose at all? The coralline growth on the back wall is just awesome, I have some coralline growth after about 2 months running, but not nearly as extensive as yours.

I've been using c-balance 2 part calcium and alk buffer in my tank, but I can't seem to get the calcium above 325, and the alk above about 5 dkh. I change about a gallon of water a week, sometimes I miss one week, but never more than that. I use pre-mixed water bought from LFS that uses instant ocean, it tests out at 35ppt and its made with RO/DI filtered water. I've just started dosing the buffer/calcium a bit more aggressively, hopefully that will get things where they belong.

I just recently bought a canon a520 that I like very much. Its my first camera, and I am very pleased with it, although I want to get the macro lens adapter for better closeup shots of my tank and such. Its only 4 megapixel, but the highest resolution is 2272x1704 pixels. It also has a very good power zoom to 4x, and digital up to 14x.

I have the 12DX, about 12-15 pounds LR and about 15 pounds of oolitic sand, also have the fission skimmer set to run when my lights are off, and a maxi-jet 900 return pump.
