Draw backs are pretty limited in a Nano. The main problem with a nano is space (inside the tank)! The other thing to consider is water quality. Since you are dealing with such a small amount of water specs can fluxuate quite a bit if your not careful. But your not new to this game so you should be fine. Check into a Nanocube 12DX by JBJ. The best tank of it's size out there IMO. They also make a 6 and a 24 gallon.

Besides space constraints, they're much less forgiving than large tanks .... you have to stay on top of all water parameters and do water changes religiously. (IME weekly}

I agree, I've got a 10 gallon.

It's been a little over a year now and I'm quite pleased with it.

The biggest drawback is that just about everybody sells corals on rocks too big for a tiny tank, very frustrating. Do keep up with the water changes.

its also hard when you find a coral that you really like but when it gets too big. same thing happened to me today. wanted to get this about 4 inch high colt for my 24 gallon but it was too tall and would stick out of the water. so i just bought a small kenya tree. so far im happy with the 24 gallon nano cube. they are pretty big. i fit 30 lbs of live rock in there.
