Just got my naso. He's about 2 inches long. I'm very excited to have and want to know what's the best way to take care of him. I saw him eat a little at the pet store, but ever since i got him home 2 days ago he hasn't eaten. Hopefully he is just getting use to his home. Any else have Naso's

CALL THE PET STORE WHERE YOU BROUGHT THE NASO FROM AND ASK THEM WHAT DID THEY FEED HIM.
ANYWAY ONCE HE HASN'T EATEN IN A COUPLE OF DAYS HE'LL EAT.

again it is not unusal for a new fish not to eat for a couple days or even in some cases a week. I find live brine shrimp gets them started and if not able to find see if you can get some frozen brine and shake a little in the tank so it seems to be moving and alive.

I just went through the same thing. Put seaweed selects on a veggie clip and just leave it there for the majority of the day. Selects was the first thing my Naso ate (after two days). After the selects, he ate mysis shrimp. Now he's a PIG!!!

What are the water readings? With all the un-eaten food, you need to keep a close eye on the levels. Do you have good circulation and surface agitation? I'm starting to worry for you cause the Naso's only 2" long. The bigger ones seem to be a little tougher (for lack of a better word).
Have you tried the seaweed selects on a clip? Put it on and leave it there. He may eat it when your not there. A new fish will be shy at first.

I know what you mean about being excited about the naso. I just love my Big Boy. They are the most beautiful fih. Any my fish is almost 100% vegan. Which I love because he's like me.
Anyway all he was eating was seaweed select (Ocean Nutrition) and a ton of Roman lettuce. He HATES BRINE, MYSIS, FROZEN FORMULA 2, then one day I bought live tubeflex worms and he went crazy, I have never seen such a sight, it was somewhaqt sad to me becuase I found out that he isn't 100% vegan. But I still love him. Anyway he also loves frozen blood worms.
Defintely give him SEAWEED SELECT AND SOME ROMAIN SOON, AND I BET HE EATS THAT, LET mE KNOW
