New Niger Behavior

Hi. I just got "Vlad", my new Niger Trigger. Yes, he's hiding - Im ok with that, but is it ok that he's hiding while lying on his side? He gets up, swims for 20 seconds, and lays on his side again. He's a nice vibrant blue, but was black when I bought him. Ni-.25, amm-0, 1.023 grav. 75 gallons, no other fish, 20 lbs live rock.
Also, who can suggest a vitamin supplement for him? Is it worth it to get that formula 2 stuff?

Fluval 404 and a prizm -
Funny you should ask, I turned of my prizm waiting for a new impeller - Ill turn it on.
Do you think he's gasping?
