Thanks, I've wanted orange rics for a long time now. It's amazing how bright they are under the actinics. The pics really do them no justice.

The color and texture on your ricordea is beautiful! I have some too but my favorite is a nice blue one I bought from FLricordea.

Thanks. Flricordia has some very nice rics. I keep meaning to buy some from him. These came from a local reefer.

I have gotten lots from him. He has the nicest stuff and is one of the nicest guys I have met. He is very handsome, intellegent, has a good humor, a hard worker not to mention very humble.
That is untill you have net him in the morning. Before 9am and 3 cups of coffee he is the biggest a$$ that walked the face of the earth.

I heard a rumor that he was going to move to San Diego so I could come over and hand pick some rics.

I did my time there already. WOuld be the last place...kidding. I was in Imperial Beach. Fun time in my life, lots of beach parties.
Now I am in Pensacola and you can only be on the beach at night if you are fishing and no parties.

I have an orange ric that exact same color etc. It is still small but very neat, my Yuma is growing like a weed though, nice soft pink and green.

I have one exactly like that, I dont know what is happening to it though. Its turning white and I dont know what to do. Its weird, like its bleaching but is under a 150w halide. And has been since march, its also at the bottom of the tank, where it has always been.

there was a lfs here in Nebraska whose lights went out for a few days, when they came back on their extensive ric collection was almost all white with some tints of the original color. Not trying to say that is what is going on with your ric PerfectDark, but just something to chew on. Their color came back very slowly and they were trying to sell the bleached white rics for 17.99 a polyp which would be a steal at that lfs(sad to say)

Some of my other rics prefer less light and are moving behind shelves. I've heard of rics dropping zoanthellae after placing them under halides. Try moving yours so it doesn't get direct light and see if it improves. I would PM Flricordia and ask him, too. He knows ricordeas pretty well.
Here's the guy that has moved the most...about 6 inches in 6 months. He is moving over the edge where there is less direct light. Or maybe he was just tired of where he was...I dunno.
