Well I bought two percula clownfish saturday. Once I put them in I thought I saw the bigger clown shaking its tail by the littler one. Isn't that I sign of mating? Well hopefuly they will eventually mate. I hope to soon get a bta for them. Here are some pictures of them in their new home.

Sounds like they might be starting the pairing process. Clowns will change --- when paired, the larger will become the female and the smaller will become the male. The female may nip at the male from time to time for the next month or so (and even lightly forever) so don't be surprised at this. It may take a long time before they actually mate. Hope this helps, and best of luck with them!

Ya I read a lot on clowns already because I want to breed b&w percula clownfish. I know it will be a while but hopefully eventually they will breed. I love their personalities and they don't flee at the sight of me so I can watch them closely. They are some of the cooler fish I got right now.

I'm having trouble with my clownfish. One died last night and the other is having same symptoms. I posted pics and the other information in the Dieases and Treatment section.

I agree with what monk has said....good luck with them. They look good...
But I think they are A. ocellaris ( False Percs )

Ya I think they are false percs too. But one clown died and the other isn't doing to good so I'm pretty sure there won't be any mating any more.
