. I tried so many way to keep my nirate as low as possbile, but I'm still having problem to stable it. My nitrate been going up and down and I have a 30g sump with fuge. Also within the sump I have some type of plant called calerpa. Please any suggestion would be appriate. :help:

You should have at least 1 pound of rock per gallon of tank. Half can be non-live "Base" rock and the other half live. This saves you a lot of cash and in 6 months it will all be live rock. You do need rock for many corals.
Soft corals don't need intense lighting for the most part. Depending on the size tank and amount of watts you have they may be fine for soft corals only. T5HO would be a lot better and Metal Halides are the best. With Metal halides you can keep almost any type of Coral. Most, If not all with the right amount of T5HO.
Clams consume Nitrates! You can use "Cleaner Clams" available on this website to accomplish this. Put them in your fuge. I would also suggest some Cheato over the Calurpa as it seems to consume nitrates better and will not go sexual on you and crash your tank.
