Hey everyone, I am new to the forum and decided to post some of the pics from my almost complete setup (just a few pieces here or there should do it). Any comments or suggestions would be great from those of you with much more experience!

Welcome to Saltwaterfish.com! And what a way to say hello! You're tank is gorgeous!
I have a 72 gal bowfront myself. What are the dimentions of yours? I didn't know they had 80gals. What lighting are you using?

Thanks! It is 50" long, 28" high, 12.5 deep at ends (wider in middle of course)
At this time all I have is 340W, compact 4x65 and the regular strip with 40x2.

A gorgeous bowfront tank! Wonderful colors in the coral, good luck and post more pics. I hope that Niger trigger remains a "good community citizen" while in that tank.

I think that your tank looks very attractive . . . . however, there is a LOT of life in there for a tank that is only 4 months old. Secondly, you have one fish proven unsafe in a reef tank and another that is suspicious. Have you done some research on the specimens in your tank?
I wish you the best of luck . . . . . you're going to need it.

Tank, stand, hood and the sump and filters cost $1000. Altogether with all the livestock, lights, etc there is over $5000.
The Niger Trigger I knew to be a 50/50 chance but I read about this one and took the chance. Happy to say that I lucked out and this one is an excellent community fish. Everyone gives him "respect" (that boxer look, hee, hee) but he gets along with everyone small and large and doesn't bother any of the corals. All the other fish are pretty common. Even the three blue chromis get along with everyone, I REALLY lucked out on that one. The open brain on top of the rocks just seem to really like it there but I will keep an eye on them. Thanks for everyone's suggestions and compliments!

wow, nice tank. But I'd have to agree that there's a lot of stuff in there for a tank only 4 months old.
But it looks real nice!

nice job! IMO, 4 months is not bad... some may think its way too fast, but i think if your water perameters are stable, it shouldnt be a problem. Mine is close to 3 months and i have about 25 pieces of corals. all are doing well.... i guess it just really depend on the equipment.

Love the tank. It looks like you have a wood canopy. If it is I would love to no what brand or DIY. I love bowfronts but can't find a canopy.
