Here's some recent pictures of the fish in my 180 FOWLR. Newest being a yellow belly mappa puffer, named Buffer the Puffer. Don't mind the name. Let me know what you think. Regards, Tim

I'm having a hard time with getting good clarity on full tank shots. Still very new at this. Any suggestions on how to get a good shot? Here's a couple of new pics of puffy. Thanks, Tim

A full tank shot will sometimes look bad and will never do the tank justice, but we know that...
anyway, best way to get a shot is to take one at a slight angle so the flash doesn't bounce back at you or take one without a flash while on tripod.

Well here are some 1/4 to 1/2 tank shots with my new tang that has been in quarantine for a month and some other shots as well. Sorry a couple of shots of my best friend. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Tim

Thanks I love that eel too. I was very hesitant about getting him for a few reasons. First they are expensive, which led to my other concerns. They only get 12" max, thought my fish would eat him. All the fish are scared of him. Also I was told they are very reclusive and you would never see him. Mine is the complete opposite. Soon as food hits the water this eel is all over the place, much like a snowflake is. Unfortunately my snowflake acts like my dwarf moray and never shows his face. My dwarf eel is definately one of my favorites. My girlfriend says, "it looks like a big worm, how could you like that thing". I just laugh, one of the many who just doesn't get it!! Tim

Thanks. Its a Gynothorax Melatremus, or dwarf Moray. Reported max size is only 12". They are considered to be the only reef safe moray. I got him from a diver in Hawaii where they are endemic to the islands. I got him for only $125. They usually gp for $225-$350 depending on how vibrant the yellow is. They can can be a molted brownish yellow to flourescent yellow. The latter being more expensive. I believe the guy I got mine from has one for sale for about $159. Thanks Tim
