I just got a new Plate Coral for my 72 Bowfront. What a nice addition!!! Pink with purple tips. My question is, does it have to be placed on my LS bed or can it be placed up on some rock? If it's on the LS, will it get smothered and die from sand blown around by my Gold Stripe Maroon? I would rather keep it up on the rock, closer to the lights. I have Corallife PC lighting.
