Well, it's about time you got pictures of your new brood up...

Seriously, how are they doing? How did you acclimate? Did everything go smoothly there? How are Titan and his family doing with the new additions?
You must be SO excited!! I'm excited for you!! The tank looks GREAT!

Wow, looking again at your pictures, I had no idea that dwarf horses grew cirri!! Any idea if that's something that they'll keep? I know that some of the larger species will grow cirri, but lose it in the the aquarium. Very cute, and very cool pictures!!

They arrived at 9:06 am. When I opened the box they were all stuffed in the tiniest bag I have ever seen a fish shipped in. They all arrived safely, but very disoriented. I set the bag in tank water to warm up, and then I acclimated them for 30 minutes or so and them introduced them to their new home.
For the first ten minutes or so they all swam around bumping into the tank walls, hang overs from the long trip I'm sure
Man their travel bag was tiny!!!
After that all of them started exploring. Titan's largest son was the first to come out and say hello...then the twins...the little pink one hid behind a leaf(I should name this one Bashful!!) Then Titan made his grand entrance and started checking out the ladies. Latter on I noticed Titan, what looked like, emptying his pouch.
Once the introductions were over every one hitched up and took a siesta.
I came upstairs a couple of hours later and found the entire herd doing some serious hunting. So I served up a new batch of bbs. I turned off the filter to make sure everyone got their fill, especially the new comers. It's so cute to watch the babies hunt, it's a very serious matter for them~they have to hunt for the smaller bbs so they can actually snick them up. Their concentration reminds me of a baby trying to learn how to crawl...so determined.
After filling their tummies, the whole group got together...it looked like a "get to know your neighbor" party!!!! After a while they split up into smaller groups...all in different parts of the tank. "Bashful", the shy pony, slipped back into the undergrowth and watched quietly as the "conversations" continued.
As the day wore on the adults settled in on a comfy hitching post while the youngsters explored. There are 3 tiny ponies, maybe a 7-10 days old. The rest are young or mature adults.
When I came home from work tonight every one was hitched up fast asleep, dreaming sweet dreams of bbs.
