New Porcupine still not eating

I got a porc puffer three weeks ago. I know he has to be eating something, because he is still alive, but what? I was told he was eating silversides, so that is what I have been putting in. I have seen him tempted and then run away. He hides all day and a good part of the night. I feed my other fish formula 1&2. Is he just sneaking food at night? Should I try something else? I just want to make sure I am doing what I can for him. Thanks.

he might be eating something-he can go a month with out really eating anything. sometimes it takes awhile but he should be eating soon. try some shrimp,clams from the grocery store. are your other fish bigger then him,maybe they scare him away from the food?

HEY MY PORK REALY LIKES RAW TIGER SHRIMP I DONT FEED HIM THAT OFTEN BUT WHEN I BUY IT HE GOES CRAZY FOR IT.

i used to feed mine fesh saltwater shrimp. He got to big so i had to give him away

Most of my other fish are bigger. The Porc is about 3". I also have a Lion,Luner Wrasse, Yellow Tang, Regal Angel, and a Clown (which is the only one smaller than him). The Angel and Wrasse seem to pick on him all day, then he hides in the rocks. My other fish are relentless when it comes to eating, and are so much faster that I am afraid he will never get anything. I have tried feeding him at night, after I turn out the tank light, but after sniffing the food he still runs away. I will try the shrimp, I just hope he gets some. Thanks again. J
