I was with a friend today, and passed by his
friend's house. (He's moving). He had a
tank he needed to get rid of. Fish included
and he's moving in 2 days. So I took in his
smallest fish.
Its a 1 inch PufferFish(not spiny). Has a
white bottom, yellow/green top with black
spots. Was looking on the web but haven't
found one that looks like this.
Does anyone know how big they get? I know it
likes bloodworms.
Thnx for any info.

sounds like a spotted green puffer-
they are found in brackish and marine waters.
usually grow to 3-4" in aquariums, can be much larger in the wild (6"+)
you can search this site or the web for info on them (scientific name- Tetraodon Nigroviridis).
beautiful fish, i had one in brackish water for over 3 years.

BlueWater; I agree sounds like a spotted Puffer. To be sure you can click on my homepage (man standing next to house) and go to the info available thru that which also has pictures of them and care needs). They are great little Puffers but need some special care to do well. Also, am moving this over to our aggressive section where there are many spotted owners.
