Is this enough for my 90 gallon bow front?
I put 1 on ether side 1 facing accross and the other facing down a little. I have the wave maker.

It should be just fine for a 90 I have 2 1200 marinelands and I have them on the sides twords the front 1 pointing to the back and 1 aimed straight across the front to make a circular motion in the tank

Is that better then having the 1 pointing down more? Does that make it have a circular motion in the whole tank or just at the surface?

you can have it pointing a little down it will circle the tank and create surface motion which that's what you want

You don't need or technically want your PH's at or pointing towards the surface for surface agitation as most might want to believe....Your overflow "flow" is more than adequate flow to break surface tension or "promote" gas exchange......
