new purchase question

Is this Goniopora (Flower Pot Corals) or is it Green Star Polyps??? :notsure: Bought it from a LFS and didnt remeber the name they called it. First picture is when I got it in the tank second is about an hour or so after. Also they closed about an hour after the lights went out is that normal???

Definately not Goniopora. Probably GSP...

Ohhh yeah I forgot to ask... Im gonna do a water change tonight or should I wait till tomorrow?

GSP. They should open allot more then that. They will also spred like crazy. I would do the water change whenever is best for you.

Yes green star polyps i have one, also i have a brittle star living in it i wish it would come out, i'm thinking of fragging it they look really cool under blue night lights and yes normal to close up
