new red sea max ? about the skimmer

Hello everyone this is my first saltwater setup.im having problems with my skimmer. everytime i turn it on alot of small bubbles go into my tank and it doesent stop. the overflow tank on the skimmer fills up with water till about a .25 to the top and bubbles just fill into there.my ? is why is there millions of tiny bubbles invading my tank when i turn it on? it wont stop till i turn it off.. i have a redsea max 34 gallon tank

Go to the Red Sea Max website and click on the product support link at the top of the page. It will lead you to an update about the intake port that is defective on some of the Red Sea max systems. It has a picture of the old and new part for idenification, and says to contact the dealer to get a new part. Hope this helps and Good luck
