Here's my one and only reef tank. 72g bowfront set up since beginning of Feb. $2800 and 4 months later..it's doing very well - have not lost a single coral or fish...It was seeded with 20 lbs of live sand and 30 lbs of live rock from my established FOWLR tank.

I have a 72gal bow too that I'll be setting up for reef too. Is that a All-Glass aquarium?
Those tubes on the side looks like lifts for a UGF, are they?
Nice setup.

Beautiful tank.I love your Anthias, which one is it??BETH, if you look closley at thattube you will see that it does not go all the way to the bottom. And has a fish screen on the end.My guess is it is the water supply line to the filter.

Thanks for the nice words guys. Mr Salty is correct. The tubes are there (with guards) to circulate the water from the bottom of the tank to the top thru the powerheads-creates good circulation.
Beth,
It's an All Glass aquarium with PC lighting suspended from the ceiling. The only filtration is the sand bed, 90 lbs of live rock, and an AquaC Remora Pro skimmer
The corals are: Frogspawn, two kinds of torch corals, a long tentacle plate coral, open brain, mushrooms, green star polyps.
Fish are:
Scopas tang, 2 Banggai cardinals, 3 pajama cardinals, 6 Green Chromis, mated pair of Maroon clowns with a bubble tip anemone that is unfortunately facing the back of the tank; and 1 Squarespot Anthias.

Foobaby,
The lights are JBJ power compacts that are suspended from the ceiling. 6 96 watt bulbs - 4 10,000K and 2 Actintic.
There is 90 lbs of Figi live rock in the tank. I placed it down the middle with lots of nooks and crannies. There is swimming room for the fish all along the back, sides and front.
