My temp is abut 72d. I feed the cali krill mainly. My cali is mostly active during the day and buries himself during the night. I think calis are alot harder than other rays so when you get the ray Id make shure its healthy. Make shure it doesnt have any red marks on the belly or look skinny. If it does I would do A semi water change. Also it works for me when any my sharks or rays have the red belly parasite I use garlic in the water and a water change. Garlic in food if eating rite away. Good luck

Ya garlic extreme , I use what the directions say. Ill probly get some pics of the sharks up soon. The lemon is not growing in length but in thickness , the built bulky look of lemons. Bamboos are good and getting large. In a about three weeks i am getting an upgrade, a tub for the sharks. Has anyone ever breed yellow rays. im going to try to. I know that they mate in the spring but thats it. I might get another larger female cuz I dont want all the stress on one female if they do mate.

do a search on "yellow stingrays" be sure to include the s on google. find a pic and it tells you some people have bred yellow stingrays.

and one more thing. i realized your shark pond has no hood or cover. have you had any problems with jumping out. i would like to know like what are the chances and is it possible???

They would have to jump a foot out but the only one is my larger bamboo who gets out of the water during feeding. Im not worried about that 2 much.

how do you like you yellow rays? I have a cali and hes great and Im thinking about getting a yellow. I keep my tank at 77 so the yellow will be fine. Are they as active as the cali? Are they tame? Mine hand feeds and loves to have his head rubbed :)

also do you have problems ith high nitrates? If not what kind of filter are you using and how often do you change your water. I have a DIY wet/dry with a skimmer and Im thinking of ditching the bioballs and see if I can get mine to lower.
