righttioo, i've got a 10g QT for a 25g DT, im getting a 130g 6' long tank so my 25g is now the QT and the 10g is just a bowl of water atm:D
so i wanna know if its big enough for a couple pony's and wat do i need to set up a seahorse tank?
i've got some LS to put in and can put in some LR if neccesary

A 10g tank is really too small for any of the standard sized seahorses; your best bet in that size tank would be quartet of dwarf ponies. Dwarfs need a constant supply of live baby brine shrimp, so you'll need to be prepared with a brine hatchery set up to feed them. There are plenty of people far more knowledgable than I on these boards who can tell you about keeping dwarf ponies.

ok thankyou, i will go to the LFS tomorrow and get a hatchery, there like lil tubes arnt they. then its like £1 to get about a million brine lols so it should be easy to get them started:D
do i need standard stuff in there like sand and rock? or do they need specific stuff in there?

The 25 gallon may make a good home for a pair of a smaller species like fuscus. Read the links at the top of the seahorse forum for tank sizes and seahorse needs and such and then come back and come back and ask questions. What are the dimensions of the 25?

its a 25 long so its, 31.5"Lx16"Hx12"W.
but i wanna use it for a QT. i suppose i could still use the 10g for a QT, but for the fish i want its rather small. for example angels and stuff. but i saw in the threads aboce that the h zosterae could be kept in a 5g

I don't know much about zots other then the live food requirement. May try them at some point but not now. If you decided to do them make sure you post your progress here.

Since you're from England..... might want to check the price/availablity of dwarfs first before making any plans

yeh i will do, its sooo annoying being in this hobby in this country, i pay like double you guys pay for alot of fish lols.
im going to go to the LFS today and ask them how much they'll be, if there rediculously expensive its a no lol,
but like on some UK website, a red kuda was £150, then a yellow and black was £55, but they change colour dont they? so its a rip off lols.
if i can think of anything to do in there, i'll just breed clowns in it lol.
but if i do get some pony's i'll be sure to post a diary here:D
