How many pounds of sand do I need to make a DSB w/Southdown and live sand on top for a 75 Gal-about 4"
Will an Aqua C Urchin be sufficient enough or should I buy an Aqua C Urchin Pro for this size tank? FOWLR

I can help you out with one of your questions, there is a sand bed calculator on another website. I don't remember what it was but if you do a google search for "sand bed calculator" you should find it.
You just enter your tank dimensions and how deep you want it to be and it will tell you how much you need.

I'd go with the Urchin Pro. I just purchased it, but still not have put it in the tank. The Protien Skimmer is one of the most needed peice of equiptment in the tank, so bigger is better. If you want to spend a few extra bucks, go with the PRO.

I have been hearing great things about the Aqua C Remora and Urchin. I am going to have a sump and have been reading that sump skimmers work even more efficiently then the hang on models and thought maybe the Urchin would suffice for the tank size. I was leaning towards the pro and just wanted some feedback.
Appreciate any help being new, thanks
