Hi everyone,
This place is a wealth of info. I have been reading my butt off, but I still have a question. I setup my first SW 30g FO last year to get the feel for the hobby.
I am just using a hang on mechanical filter, and recently added a hang on protien skimmer.
40lbs. of lr.
1- Spotted Puffer
1- Sgt. Major
1- Coral Beauty
1- Humu Trigger
All are eating well and getting along fine.
Water parameters have been good with no problems.
OK, now I got the bug. I am looking at getting into it "full force" so-to-speak. I am looking at getting a 125-135g with overflow and sump system. I know this will be a time consuming and money consuming endeavor, but I think it will be well worth it. I plan on putting about 200-300lbs of lr and about a 3" bed of sand. I will eventually put my critters from the 30g in the new setup.
Now the question. I have seen so much on cleanup crews and I know the are bebeficial to the tank. The question I have is, what can I use that the trigger will not eat? I know they will eat the snails and probably any other typical clean up crew species. Any ideas?
Any advice or recomendations on my new setup is much apreciated.
