new shark

I am going to get bannded catshark in my 300 gallon tank.I have right now 1 blue damsel.I am going to get an antennata lionfish.My first qouestion is should I get the lion or the shark first.My other qouestion is that how do I get my shark to feed becuase I now that they will fast for a while.What should I feed him squid , krill , or something else.

sharker: it doesn't matter which one you get first as long as your tank is cycled already. A banded bamboo shark that is already feeding shouldn't fast once you acclimate it... however if it does just keep trying to feed it squid... that seems to be their overall favorite food.
