i just purchased the aqua medic OR 3500 for my reef tank.
its the 24 inch stubby model. i was using a coral life 220 skimmer, it was not cleaning my new 220 gallon tank ( i switched from a 120 gallon tank.)
i took my local aquariums advice and bought the aqua medic "stubby" good for 1500 litres!
will the skimmer have adjustments to increase amount of oxygen for more bubbles? or are the larger skimmers less noticeable to see bubbles.
i m just not sure its working at maximum efficacy!
any tips?

The more you restrict air flow, the tinier the bubbles will be. The less you restrict flow, the bigger the bubbles will be.
If you want smaller bubbles, add a ball valve or a gang valve to the airline tube.
It's best if you can use a gate valve on not only the feed line from the pump, but also on the drain line from your skimmer.

i want to know if the "new skimmer" is working optimal?
and with my old coral life skimmer i could adjust amount of bubbles! to increase cleaning.
can i adjust like this on my new skimmer?
