being acrylic I'd just use a medical syringe and squirt a little acrylic weld in the seem to make sure its sealed. the key word is "I'd". If recieving a product you payed new money for comes in less than perfect makes you uneasy send it back! that will also really cut down the resale value when your ready to get rid of it. why did it take 2 weeks
see if they'll ship a new one express free of charge since you dont want to wait so long again and you should have got one without a crack.

$225 and a crack that big i'd be calling them wanting a new one.
Well I emailed the company I got it from and will wait to see what they say.
I also emailed the manafacturer to see if they would cover the warranty if it should happen to spring a leak within the 2 years. If they will I'll just ask for a partail refund and not worry about sending it back.
